GRH3 Run # 207 The Holidazzzze "Santa Hat & Jingle Bell Hash"


Jingle All The Way

Saturday, 12/22/07 at 2pm (EST)

Start Location: East Grand Rapids Middle School

On-In Location: Logans's Alley on Michigan Street

Di-Erections: 1. East GR Middle School address: 2425 Lake Drive (corner of Lake Shore Drive) parking lot is on the North East corner.

Tail of the Trail: Hee heee hoooo hooooo hoooooo! Santa hats and candy canes, etc... where handed out at the start of the hash with bugs bunny the hash hare viewing all? The hashers told of hash trail as a sucking trail, with 50% ice, not enough shiggy (ahemmmmmm), icy cold water, maybe a hill of littleness and on and on. Found was a beverage of liquidness looks like a full bottle of coors there on trail. It was snatched and downed by the runners - good cold stuff! Jacked Doff left the trail and found a tree of great width to hide behind while taking care of his business. We are wondering if the tree survived? A hash moment.... might go back and check? Oh where was that tree of widths? Trail was laid with red cray paper and white flour also a touch of blue chalk (candy cane colors for the season). The red showed up well on the green of the trees and bushes. The weather was about 40 degrees F. which made for better running through the streets of EGR. Beautiful ornaments and such were noticed by us all. Several playgrounds were enjoyed as we totally took advantage of the newness of them. There was much more to say but?????

We headed (who said head?) over to Logans Alley for a warm circle, brews and eating of sorts. Jacked Doff: a past GM returned after 1 1/2 years and brought a virgin by the name of Just Trish. The virgin hare Just Trish did a multitude of pointing on trail and continued even though she knew the results of this offense. This was def a down down for her and she loved it. She also proceeded to wear a hat in the circle of redness. There was a circle break as Jacked Doff had to releave himself in a appropriate area behind closed doors. As we continued with the circle Virgin Trish needed food of super nachos then more like suches of chicken wings. The hash sure brings out the hunger of all especially virgins.

Next hash was decided to be a sledding and family orientated event at Richmond Park. Jacked Doff and Just Trish besides others RSVP'd they would be there with gear in hand.

On to the next hash in 2008 "Happiness for a better New Year to all and to all a good night!"

    3. Tail of the Trail: Ahhhh the trail was great with those of us who came to wear red, drink beverages and eat polish foods of sorts. Great to see Royal Mounted Nanny who came in from Toronto way (she brought a virgin to the circle). We had a naming on this great and glorious day for Just Brad. He is forever in the hashing world of GR or where ever he travels be known as Birch Slap(Bitch Slap?). If this is not correct please advise. The thought is for the next hash that Ponygirl will be haring - is this true? Ponygirl where are you? Next hash is scheduled for 10/28, Sunday - YES!!!!!! Safe drive home to Kzoo Gifelderup...

    Di-Erections: From Grand Rapids take 131 South to Kalamazoo. Take exit #41 the 131 Business exit (if you hit exit #38, you've gone to far). 131 Business will turn right and become Westnedge Avenue, turn left on Paterson Street then Verberg Park will be down on your right (if you hit Riverview Drive you've gone to far).

    We'll be in the parking lot of Verberg Park.

    Tail of the Trail: Cocoa Puffs and I laid a trail that meandered over railroad tracks, into parking garages, over water fountains and generally through the best that Kalamazoo has to offer. Hot Lips and B.O.B. ran the trail with great exuberance and at times, shocking speed (keep pumping those arms, B.O.B.) A pitcher of Chicago's own Old Style was thrown back at a beer check at Harvey's. After the less-exuberant return back Verberg Park, the crew took care of down-downs in Bell's beer garden (mmmm, Expedition Stout...) Freudian Hips, formerly of Bloomingfools (original home hash of Gefelterup) called in unexpectedly during circle. She shared that she lives in a place she calls "I-Da-Ho". After circle concluded, we witnessed the triumphant return of Thar She Blows and her brother, Just Steve. Let's leave it at that. -Gefelterup

Look for hashers you know what we look like.

    Tail of the Trail: Get this we had 5 virgins at this hash which doubled the hash size for today (Just Kevin B, Steve, Tim, Josh, and Robin). Welcome to the hash you wankers! Also welcome to a transplant by the name of Gefelterup from Bloomington, Indian and now living in Kalamazoo. Welcome back to Thar She Blows who has been attending school in Kalamazoo, and Just Brad we don't know where he has been. Of course we have the pleasure of seeing 2 Lips to Sing By from Muskegon and then me Hot Lips from here?

    Great hash, what a fantastic incredible live hare trail set by Thar She Blows and Just Steve (her virgin brother). Besides the trails, sidewalks, roads and shiggy (yes).... we had found beer on trail (get this right - on the road by a big tree) and then let alone another which was located at Logans Alley. We arrived at Logans right at 7pm and received the 4.75 price for a pitcher of PBR. Yes, we love you our hash bar! Get this we scarfed on free nachos and pizza while enjoying the deck outside. Thank you to who ever left the nachos for us sure was tasty.

    We all left and headed back for the on-in located by the cum-dumster. Every single brew was swallowed and foods where indulged. I hope that all you virgins return and do please set the next trail in Holland. On out for now and off to Traverse City for the new Michigan Hash. HL

    Tail of the Trail: Nice trail of tails with lots of wilderness, shiggy, paved roads. Wow, nice hot summer day for a hash. Several virgins showed and there was rejoicing. The on-in was concluded at Logans Alley on Michigan with $4.75 pitchers of brew and of course our favorite... free pizza. The deck outside was our favorite ahhh yes nice to be outside. On out till the next hash. Don't forget Chicago's 1500th is coming up on July 21, 2007.

    Notes:

    Tail of the Trail: Nice very nice trail set by Restricted Access - man we love you!!! Beer Near was located at the home of Restricted Access. So close to Schmohz just walking distance - not even running distance, that close. Possibly a new hash dog by the name of Calvin was found at the home of RA. He needs to come out soon and run with the hash. Trail kept us a little confused with many false trails, lots of pavement, walkways, not much shiggy (yay!) and scares of muck and goo.

    Hash Circle was small and sweet with good and plentiful brew to go around. The virgins: Just Steve (theprince) and Whitie totally had a good time with PR's of speed and too much brew (for their first hash), Restricted Access enjoyed his brews for haring and becoming a new home owner, Hot Lips was given a couple down-downs herself for short cutting and giving blood the same day as a hash. There was much rejoicing and talk of an upcoming hash on 6/20 by the virgins. This will be discussed. Hey we need more hashers!!! See you in a couple weeks.
