The address is 444/446 Paris Avenue - it is the big 3-story red brick house with green shudders and a big side yard - you can't miss it. It is right on the corner of Paris and Logan.

Oh my gosh so many water balloons exploded in the hot air. They where all around us as we socialized and completed our chalk talk and a short version of Father Abraham. Just as the trail was started Shine my Knob arrived with extra water items. Of course then more brew was indulged upon.

Not much shiggy was located as we ran through the streets on the West side of GR. No other water puddles, streams or rivers were ran through... Hmmmm, wait till next week! A deal animal on trail was located near railroad tracks and a bottle cap? A possible story of Fred the dead was drinking and dropped his bottle cap near on the railroad tracks and was hit by a train. What happened to the bottle? Well, a homeless person took the bottle for the .10 deposit. Choooo Chooo went the train as it left Fred behind.

It was heard that the BN was a shitty one but I don't understand that? Can someone explain? Now this is funny - a shopping cart was found and we all decided to do a jackass stunt: Shine my Knob jumped into the cart and the rest of us pushed him down the trail with much joy and happiness. Shiner road 2 ladies or was it 3 - along for the ride of his life. Help?????? as it was loosing control and crashed! Shiner was laughing as well as the rest of us teee heee.

Lots of sun shining in our eyes and good brew was enjoyed by all. Just not enough traffic as we caressed our feet with pavement and on and on.... As we grew more and more thirsty the on-in was located and we finished - taaaa daaa!!!!

With the hare Just Jared sitting on the ice we totally enjoyed socializing and singing the shitty song to him - suffer babbbbyyyy. Cinderella down-downs was given to Just Jared and Just Laurie very carefully as they drank out of their new shoes. Our only returner was Shine my Knob who was able to escape the wifey poo to come out and hash once again. Two FRB's sat back to back on the ice: Ch Ch Ch Chinggus and Just Laurie. Oh and yes I was DFL "Hot Lips". We even had a SCB by the name of Just Laurie. Then we had a naming for our Just Laurie "Cumz from Behind". She likes to socialize with the hares and sneak up on you all. Could be something more to that story? There were other possibilities for names but Cumz from Behind was the best.

Our hash shit award for today went to Shine my Knob for being overly prepared with a fire watesr extinguisher, squirt guns, water balloons and costume of a shower cap with goggles. Just too prepared yes he was. As the circle ended we all headed over to "Our Tavern" to play shuffle board, etc.... See you all next week. Hot Lips out

As Ch Ch Ch Chinggus and I stood near the boat launch as the other hashers arrived. The hash rabbit was the tallest of us all. Craziness was all I can say - Hash Rabbit?????? Hey he has clothes on? Teeee heeee.... On out was yelled as the 20+ minutes of hash time was concluded. Over hill and dale(?), rodes, trails, sidewalks, shiggy of sorts and the sorts of other periphinalial. What a good place for a beer check on the trail of children. Good idea to hide it under barks from tree upon tree. Stories of hashing were told and possibilities of other news events. The little critters of moskitoes were coming for our blood so we headed out for more possibilities of pain and gore.

Oh yes and yes as we yelled on on on the outskirts of Reed's Lake. The hares helped keep the crew on trail and came upon one more BN such is the like of Sangria Boons Farm. Yes, our favorite hash wine! We toasted and guzzled our vino and headed (who said head?) out - youza. A on-in was spotted as we came closer to the end of our trails. You know this is so funny. There we all sat across from the Roses Restaurant taking care of business in the mist of East Grand Rapids. Oh, and I do have pictures to see if you get on my hash space or ask for viewing pleasures and I will send them to you.

And the pleasures of down-downs continued.... There was some discussion of ger or yurt for living quarters in Mongolia, hmmmmm. The hares where over joyed at having there down-downs taken care of first and whoops a down-down was given to me Hot Lips for wearing a hat in the circle and of course I whined. We had two returners which were Jack Doff and Just Trish, DFL was Jack Doff & FRB was just Trish, there was something about our defient society of churchism - I don't understand that one. Jack Doff had to leave the circle becuz of his bladder. I think I should donate depends to him don't you think? Was just a great and short circle of stuffs which included talks of future and past events. Got to love it all. You know we are hard core hashers to matter how small the group! Youzaaaaaaa...

Of course the trail was shitty and here is a few details: Introductions where conducted with brew guzzled by a few and chalk talk was given by the hare. Father Abraham was participated by all with Hot Lips and Princess Lay Me leading. There was much laughter and stretching during this event. Then we were off to find the trail marked with blue chalk and flour with many normal markings to be seen.

In and out and in between the buildings we went going close to 28th Street by Smoky Bones (ribs - smelled good) and such..... A BN was located under a massive trash bin by Just Julie; who proceeded to hand out the beverage. Songs were song and everyone joined in. The out trail was found and we searched and searched for more markings. On and on we went through things we can imagine on a hash. Of know doubt we came across a burned and delapitated motel filled with debree of sorts. Can't believe it there was a BN location in one of the ruined rooms. We stopped and shared peppermint schnapps which warmed our insides & gave us extra energy. We didn't stay too long in that area kind of scary!

Trail was continued with whistles and on-ons being heard in the distance. The on-in was located and the circle was started but of course Just Julie had to go and relieve herself. Notes where taken by Princess Lay Me and this is what she came up with: Hot Lips conducted the circle and instructed the virgins of blaspemy such as head gear being worn during down-downs. Old Milwaukee was the beast of the day plus snackaroos which included a birthday cake for Just CJ. We stacked the virgins on and inbetween ice "sandwiched": Just Aleyna, Jared and Laurie. We sang hashers meet the hashers. Just Julie hashed in Mongolia so technically her cherry has popped "bigtime" she says. Birthday boy Just CJ wanted to know if if Mongolia was for the restaurant Mongolian BBQ? The hare Just Timmie was punished w/his cheeks on the ice while the pack cried about the shittiness of his virgin lay. His ass melted the ice... and he sat... as we sang more songs and told jokes by Just Jared. Just Julie was next "the transplant" received donations such as "boone's farm" and the "champayne of beers". We sang here's to Just Julie and her ass was frigid. Hot Lips asked about head being on her beer (head? who said head?)

The FRB was Just Jared and we sang he ought to be publically pissed upon and he is quite the wank! Just Laurie and Princess Lay Me were punished for being DFL's. They received a roosing rendition of the shortest down-down song. Just Timmie was found talking to his girlfriend Rachel on the cell phone (we decided he is pussy whipped and pathetic). He had to be punished and once again his bare ass was stationed on the ice of glory!

The short cutting bastards of the day where Princess and Hot Lips (Hot Lips has a cooll ass dragon on her ass! Just CJ and Stacy showed up late due to some over achieving work out event (down-downs for you), Just Stacy had road rash but both sat on the ice bare assed. Just Aleyna was punished for waring too much pink and Just CJ got head (ahem from beer). The circle was closed with Swing Low Sweet Chariot and we packed up. May the hash go in peace and may it get a piece!!!!

Inside Schmohz Brewery we settled down with b-day cake and all. Just CJ received a serenade of happy b-day fuck you! We slowly departed as the evening went onnnnnnnn. Chow for now!!!!

Rules were explained to the transplants and virgins about hash chalk talk here in GR, etc.... Off we went looking for trail. Just CJ was speeding down the road not looking for marks and had the pack continue 3/4 mile too far. That was ok they said as all needed extra miles. So cool Just Trish a newby at running was very good at keeping up with everyone. She ran her first 5k race which was the Irish Jig! Down-down for you my dear. No one was really keeping track of the hash markings of chalk and flour but Bukelwa was smart enough to stay close to the hare "me".

The first BN was located on the West side of the Grand River which included a tunnel under the express way. Several songs were song and brews were downed 'nice and cold found in the snow'. The pack headed South on Front Street and back across the 6th Street bridge then turning onto a path down by the river. I do have to say the trail was well marked if you paid attention. Did anyone eat there carrots today? On and on we ran viewing the fish ladder and all the walleye which was being caught by the massive amounts of fisherman out of the sunny day (very few we have here in winter).

A little bit of the downtown area was enjoyed and then a trail back for another BN. Well, you know the pack was so fast with Just CJ leading the way they missed the BN of Easter Eggs filled with jello shots. I know they are going to blame me for not setting the trail well with markings - whiners all of them!!! We found the eggs hidden in the snow by a trailer and tasted the warmth of the alcohol mixed with jello. Of course not too strong for the whiners and none drinkers. Finally we ended back at Teazers and decided it was so nice outside that the on-on-on would be across the street in the parking lot. We were well hidden by all intruders. Bukelwa's husband Denver, thought he could find us hidden but had to call for directions as he kept driving back in forth by us. We could see him tee hee.

We proceeded with down-downs and had a decent circle for all offenses and misdimeaners. Thank you to Just CJ for taking notes during the circle and here we go: Rules for the circle and down-downs where explained to all new comers to the GR Hash. Hot Lips was first for a down-down for being the hare (demonstration was done on how to have your bare ass in the snow (no ice around)). Unfortunately she forgot to take her warm hat off and then had to have contributions. There was steelhead fish and blood on trail - yumsss. A shitty trail song was song just for her. Just Trish whined and refused to sing and didn't pour remains of the brew on her head - this was a redue! Bukelwa had repetetive technology on trail and being a virgin at the hash was given several down-downs of cappachino (what a wank). Hot Lips once again had another offense of technology too long in the circle trying to give Denver directions. The non-running wanker - Denver finally arrived and joined the circle. He sat in the cold snow with his bare ass and downed a brew. Just CJ and he as well as Just Stacey bare assed their down-downs for being transplants from Traverse City. Just CJ did another for being a speedy FRB. Jack Doff left the circle for urination break which caused a stir and then left his hat on in during his punishment. I have to tell you the DFL was Bukelwa but she loved it - tee heee! I believe there were more but the circle was getting out of control.

More jello shots were consumed but not totally finished as more socialization was taking place. It was time to end the circle with Swing Low Sweet Chariotte

It's been done before but never better till the next hash - Just Denver.

Tail of the Trail: Ok, here we go the tail of the true trail. I know it's late but.... The slushy snow and ice was a mess (hey, maybe we can make slush drinks with red pop or cola?, hmmmmm). The marks of H's were difficult to find in meltdown of 45 degree weather. Wow, sure is warm outside! Actually it was a bit rainy out too. What a VD Hash it was the weather scared off many a hasher and just think the first GM Jack Doff of the Grand Rapids Hash was setting trail. I want to thank Jack Doff for setting this shiggy infested trail of wetness from the sky to the ground (where's the depends?).

Somewhere out on trail was a stash of brew which we never found. I wonder was it really there? Have to believe the hare of course. I do have to say the river was well flooded and we saw non-hashers fishing for steelhead (head who said head I will take some of that and I did). The hash may have been several miles in length but I just couldn't tell as I was a bit soggy and socializing too much on trail from one GM to another (past and present).

Arggggggh, we toasted to "G" the starter of the hash whose birthday was this past Monday "TO G". The semi-circle had to be broken as the hare had to dash off to the womens room for a wizzzzzzz. Big heart little bladder is that a renaming? No just wouldn't work as Jack Doff is forever more to have name never removed. Ahhhh, there was rejoicing from the bladder? I do believe that was a TMI thought. Circle was once again continuing..... Just Trish had to do a down-down or so from wimping out on the trail. She said she didn't want to get her feet wet (what's with that?). The group decided that it was a very shitty trail so the s h i t t y t r a i l song was sung in its defense. Other offenses and misdemeanors were taken care of but just couldn't remember what they were?

We all munched down on some hot yummy super nachos and more brews, ahhhhhhhhhhh...... The pool table looked good enough to crash on but we played hash pool with sticks and balls. Hmmmmm, I think that is normal to use those isn't it? Well after too much playing we departed for other duties of scientific natures. Until we meet again at the next hash - hasta la vista baby!!!!!! Can someone help me write this stuff? Hot Lips - out....

Tail of the Trail: Trail was good enough with snow and more snow. Markings were of yellow and red cray paper stuck in the snow drifts which Jack Doff complained about.

Just Trish thought it was too deep in some areas that whe had to try and short cut but ended up making her running trail longer. Just Trish was heard hollaring about her toezies being chilled. Too cold for a thirst of the Beast (OM) so instead we stopped and quacked at the wild life in the unfrozen water. Thoughts were lingering of summer... with the pool closed we cried frozen ice sicles. A cop was waiting for us in the parking lot as we ran through. I guess we didn't look like aliens or whatever as we continued our quests of looking for trail.

I have to tell you there was so much whining from running trail that we skipped sledding and went straight to the Hash Bar. The hare was the snow angel Hot Lips with technology on trail as well. FRB was Jack Doff and DFL I really have to think about. Could have been a possible duck following us around? Just Trish was the favorite whiner of the day and she'll be back for more abuse. Birch Slap showed up as a non-running bastard and stayed to enjoy the fellowship of us all.

There was talk of volunteering at a Beer Fest coming up at Fifth Third Ball Park. Yummy maybe freebies? On out to the next hash on 2/17.

Di-Erections: Good day for a sledding event and where was all the rest of you hashers? We did a renaming of Gefelderup and he is now known as Man Dick or MD (Man Dick, MD). We now have a doctor in our hash.... teeee heeeee haaaaa haaaaaaa. Can't help it I just have to laugh at this. We need to have another sledding hash but much more extended - youzaaaa!
